Music abounds

On Wednesday I went up to New York to go to the annual Tibet House fund-raiser at Carnegie Hall. The main reason I was there was to see Sufjan Stevens. Most of the other artists performing were also good.

On Thursday I went to the Edvard Munch exhibit at MoMA. It was pretty cool.

On Friday I walked around Central Park until it was time to catch the train home. Photos are forthcoming.

On Saturday I went to the Electric Factory with Gabo to see The New Pornographers and Belle and Sebastian. Of the two I enjoyed The New Pornographers more. I just thought they were harder-hitting. Not to say that I didn't enjoy Belle and Sebastian, it's just that their music is actually closer to country then it is to rock. They are both very good bands.
